WASHINGTON BRANT FOUNDATION DECOY CONTEST
The Washington Brant Foundation supports the history and artform of waterfowl decoy carving as part of our education mission. Every year the foundation sponsors a festival and decoy carving contest called the Puget Sound Open.

Some of the contest's we are featuring this year include:
Our famous Brant division contest. One of our most popular events. Compete with regional and national carvers for prizes including money and cool custom WBF embroidered Filson gear.
Open Working Decoys
Like last year, we have combined the three open class categories (Diver, Puddler, and Confidence) into one division. The best of each class will compete for the best of show title. Working decoy class rules apply.
2016 Washington State Ducks Unlimited Decoy Contest
Washington Brant Foundation will be also be host to the 2016 Washington State Ducks Unlimited Decoy Contest. Working class carving and painting restrictions do not apply to this category, allowing for a more detailed decoy.
This year's carving can be either a drake or hen mallard. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries are purchase awards and will be raffled off at the Washington State Ducks Unlimited Banquet. Entry Fee is $10 per decoy. More details on here: 2016 Washington State Ducks Unlimited Contest Details
